بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى بَرَكَةِ اللَّهِ

Bismillahi wa 'ala barakatillah

In the name of Allah and with the blessings of Allah.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

Alhamdulillahil-ladhi at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alana muslimeen

Praise be to Allah who fed us, gave us drink and made us Muslims.

اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

Allahumma bismika amootu wa ahya

O Allah, in Your name I die and I live.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

Alhamdulillahil-ladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushoor

Praise be to Allah who gave us life after death, and to Him is the resurrection.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ

Alhamdulillahil-ladhi kasani hadha wa razaqanihi min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwwah

Praise be to Allah who clothed me with this and provided it for me with no power or might from myself.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'alallah wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power nor might except with Allah.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from all evil and evil beings.

اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي

Allahumma kama hassanta khalqi fa hassin khuluqi

O Allah, as You have made my form beautiful, make my character beautiful too.

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatik

O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik

O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ

Allahumma rabba hadhihid-da'watit-tammah was-salatil-qa'imah…

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad ﷺ the intercession and the highest rank.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

Allahumma antas-Salam wa minkas-salam tabarakta ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram

O Allah, You are Peace and from You is peace. Blessed are You, O Owner of Majesty and Honour.

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ

Allahu la ilaha illa huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum, la ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm

Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Aleem

In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ

Subhanal-ladhi sakh-khara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrineen

Glory to Him who subjected this to us, and we could never have it by our efforts; and to our Lord we shall return.

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ

Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta khalaqtani wa ana 'abduk…

O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I keep Your covenant as much as I can.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

Astaghfirullahal-ladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyumu wa atubu ilayh

I seek the forgiveness of Allah, besides whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I turn to Him in repentance.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimeen

There is no god but You, glory be to You; indeed I was among the wrongdoers.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan, wal-'ajzi wal-kasal

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief, from weakness and laziness.

لَا بَأْسَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

La ba'sa tahurun in sha Allah

No harm — may it be a purification, if Allah wills.

رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

Rabbi zidni 'ilma

My Lord, increase me in knowledge.

اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي

Allahumman-fa'ni bima 'allamtani wa 'allimni ma yanfa'uni

O Allah, benefit me by what You have taught me and teach me what benefits me.

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yun

Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous.

رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Rabbir-hamhuma kama rabbayani sagheera

My Lord, have mercy upon them as they raised me when I was small.

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

Allahumak-fini bihalalika 'an haramik wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak

O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful instead of what is unlawful, and enrich me by Your bounty over anyone besides You.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina 'adhaban-nar

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Allahumma innaka 'Afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'anni

O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ

Allahumma inna nasta'inuka wa nastaghfiruka wa nu'minu bika wa natawakkalu 'alayk

O Allah, we seek Your help and Your forgiveness, we believe in You and we rely upon You.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala aali Muhammad…

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim; indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

Alhamdulillah

All praise is for Allah. (The listener replies: Yarhamukallah — may Allah have mercy on you.)

يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ

Yarhamukallah

May Allah have mercy on you.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا وَعَلَى رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

Bismillahi walajna wa bismillahi kharajna wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkalna

In the name of Allah we enter, in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.

غُفْرَانَكَ

Ghufranak

I seek Your forgiveness.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Bismillah

In the name of Allah.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah…

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ

Allahumma barik lana fihi wa zidna minhu

O Allah, bless it for us and give us more of it.

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

Dhahabaz-zama'u wabtallatil-'urooqu wa thabatal-ajru in sha Allah

The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillahi walhamdu lillah

We have entered the morning and the whole kingdom belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah.

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

Amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillahi walhamdu lillah

We have entered the evening and the whole kingdom belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah.

اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا

Allahumma sayyiban nafi'a

O Allah, make it a beneficial rain.

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي يُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ

Subhanal-ladhi yusabbihur-ra'du bihamdihi wal-mala'ikatu min kheefatih

Glory to Him whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels too, from awe of Him.

اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ

Allahumma ahillahu 'alayna bil-yumni wal-iman was-salamati wal-islam

O Allah, let this moon rise upon us with blessing, faith, safety and Islam.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon

Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ

Assalamu 'alaykum ahlad-diyari minal-mu'mineena wal-muslimeen…

Peace be upon you, O dwellers of these abodes, believers and Muslims; indeed we shall, Allah willing, join you.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajeem

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan.

اللَّهُمَّ اقْضِ عَنِّي دَيْنِي وَأَغْنِنِي مِنْ فَقْرِي

Allahumma-qdi 'anni dayni wa aghnini min faqri

O Allah, pay off my debt for me and enrich me from my poverty.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ

Allahumma inni astakheeruka bi'ilmika wa astaqdiruka biqudratik…

O Allah, I seek Your choice by Your knowledge and I seek ability by Your power, and I ask You of Your immense bounty.

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي

Rabbish-rahli sadri wa yassirli amri

My Lord, expand my chest for me and ease my task for me.

بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ

Barakallahu laka wa baraka 'alayka wa jama'a baynakuma fi khayr

May Allah bless you, shower blessings upon you, and unite you both in goodness.

بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِي الْمَوْهُوبِ لَكَ وَشَكَرْتَ الْوَاهِبَ

Barakallahu laka fil-mawhoobi lak…

May Allah bless you in what He has gifted you; may you thank the Giver.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdika ash-hadu an la ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise. I bear witness there is no god but You; I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You.
